I'm going to a concert tomorrow night in Cincinnati by myself. I have not been to a concert alone before so is there any extra precautions I should take?

Everyone I know keeps telling me to "be careful, there are crazy people at night!" and its really gotten me paranoid and scared to even go.

Keep a pair of ear-plugs with you in case you might need some sonic protection. Most concerts can easily blast away with the music at over 120 dB, which is enough to cause deafness if exposed over an extended period of time.

I mean...what your asking is kind of vague. Are you asking what precautions you should take while at the concert? Or just precaustions you should have because your alone?

Just precautions since I'm going alone. I'm paranoid that I'm going to be mugged or something. And yes I'm taking earplugs since its a rock concert. I'm going to see the Offspring =D

Well I dont see any other precautions that are any different than if you were going anywhere alone.

Cloudy........as in all big cities ya need to walk the walk. Walk like you own the place and know where you are going. Dont look like a scared little kitten petter!!! Go!!! Have fun!!! Quit making your eyes dart back and forth.

oh!!! I almost forgot!!! Carry a knife in your boot and a can of hairspray in your fanny pack!!!

Grab a beer if you drink and try and blend in with people that you might like to talk and hang with.. Do you have seats, general admission or what? There is so many people there a person would have to be pretty stupid to mug you in front of everyone...Keep your wallet in your front pocket or zippered in a inside pocket.... and or just do what I do when I go to concerts- Put only your ID in one pocket and money in the other front pocket. Stay with the crowds when you walk back to your car if you think something looks shady... Park in a well lit area with people around if possible... I'm guessing everything will be fine...
Have fun most of all and don't worry about it... Enjoy the concert...
