Ya know, some men genuinely deserve the title "Father", i know a single father who has been thru hell keeping his children, let alone keeping his children happy.
Some men defonitely deserve the title "sperm donor" as thats all theyve done or ever will.. We need to make a seprate day for the demise of those individuals, so i partially agree. They do need their own day,, but it MUST be seprate from fathers day!!! |

I have 364 days to start a petition to change the name of Father's Day to Sperm Donor's Day. It seems impossible to get everyone to give a simple "Happy Father's Day" wish. This boils down to the belief that some fathers do not deserve the title. But hey, who can argue with a "Happy Sperm Donor's Day!" |

We don't receive a "SIMPLE" day of respect! There are often qualifiers attached to the well wishes. |

I missed whatever happened in the threads, but my dad died in November, and I do respect "Dad's," all of them. I know there are lots of great Dad's out there who were treated very unfairly and suffered very badly during divorces, some are currently fighting for custody, some fighting for their fair share of their visitation, and their lives have been a nightmare. I am sorry you were disrespected. Take care. |

maybe we can change mothers day to egg carton day too
i have seen more than a few mothers that worry more about more about their wants than what is best for the children |
