 Does love really conquer and overcome all other things? It always helps to do whatever it is that needs doing with love. But love alone will achieve nothing. Real love doesn't have a breaking point because it isn't looking out to have it's own needs met. Real love is looking to fill someone else's needs so there isn't a breaking point. It's all of who you are for all of someone else. Real love has a supernatural source so it's a wellspring for others and not a black hole to be filled. Real love does conquer all but that doesn't mean that there are not times when real love is tough and takes a stand for what is right too. In the process of giving and serving someone else's best interests there are times where you have to step back, re-evaluate and do what is right - even if that means that the relationship has to stall, be mended or even end. very well rounded answer.... much wisdom in this.... |

Depends on what you mean by conquer. Somebody used the word "win out". If you mean just because you love someone love is always enough, then I'd say no. If you mean in the broader sense, of it conquers ill will, hatred, even illnesses and death, then yes. Thought provoking.
