I have always been really smart (when I wasn't being a dumb@ss)...My actual book education was pretty basic except for what I taught myself....
But, now that I am purposefully studying work related law and code...it is helping advance me in my career. But, the most important thing...I speak bullsh*t fluently..THAT is what has really gotten me places. |

Most of my years were in the Military or as a government contractor. The street smarts will keep you alive, but I needed the book smarts to be the third in command of a Nuke Base. Now I'm just crazy, works for me.   
Ooh! I forgot about the Nuke Base! No wonder yer...uh...glows in the dark!

I'm torn. I only did a year or so of higher ed.. I also started working when I was 17 /12. I think more so for me, and I never really thought about it before...thanks LOL, it is knowing which situation calls for which appropriate reaction of the two. I think they both hold equal value and also hold a greater sum when combined.

Street smarts for sure!! I wouldn't be alive if I didn't have em.... u gotta be smarter than the average bear and good at what u do!!
I left home at 15 and have never been back if it weren't for street smarts I wouldn't be talkin 16yrs later ya know |
