need to just talk to someone face to face, but they would rather chat online?
Sometimes I feel so isolated just chatting online. Anyone Bueller? |

If possible I try to get out of email ASAP and move to phone and then meeting somewhere public. Though to be honest I'm probably wittier in type. It just seems like even if you connect with someone, if you keep it to emails too long sooner or later people go poof. Besides I'd rather find out sooner than later if we aren't compatible in real life, saves time.

well chatting with someone in person is so much better no matter how u look at it
you can read a persons expresions find out who they really are letters and little smily faces can only give you so much information about a person |

me and my imaginary friend have great conversations

I really don't have anyone to talk to face-to-face anymore. So I'm basically limited to whoever is on line.

Same here. I don't get out very much anymore, and like it. Email and texting are easiest for me.
If I'm on the phone I'm busy doing other things, or there's a chicken crowing in the background, goose nattering away, a cow mooing and griping that they're poor pathetic creatures and either starving or being ignored. And the baby goat bellowing like a big goat. |

In 1930, the Republican-controlled House of Representatives, in an effort to alleviate the effects of the... Anyone? Anyone?... the Great Depression, passed the... Anyone? Anyone? The tariff bill? The Hawley-Smoot Tariff Act? Which, anyone? Raised or lowered?... raised tariffs, in an effort to collect more revenue for the federal government. Did it work? Anyone? Anyone know the effects? It did not work, and the United States sank deeper into the Great Depression. Today we have a similar debate over this. Anyone know what this is? Class? Anyone? Anyone? Anyone seen this before? The Laffer Curve. Anyone know what this says? It says that at this point on the revenue curve, you will get exactly the same amount of revenue as at this point. This is very controversial. Does anyone know what Vice President Bush called this in 1980? Anyone? Something-d-o-o economics. "Voodoo" economics.

Face time is nice...yet can be completely emotionless just like a chat site friend.
However, certain chat site friends can make you happy and feel loved and apprecieated more than the people who we would probably hang out with anyway. Besides...For me, at least on a site like this I am not expected to buy the drinks and let you use my body. That is kind of nice since, quite often..face to face..I am expected to show em a good time and send them home f**ked. I like the lack of pressure here. |
