I've gotten hit by ladies with grocery carts (cell phone) I've gotten hit by bicyclists (cell phone) I've been unable to pass the flipping pedestrian whose elbow is at right angles to his head holding a phone in a walkway too narrow for 2 people...and he was walking so Deadgumm slow too... so...I'm against cells in life |

most places it is manditory to use hands free unit anyway and if yer talking to a passenger ] you are more likly to take your eyes off the road in ohio they made it illegal for a bunch of teenagers to be in the car if a teen is driving for that very reason |

Ear pieces wont help either,,, Driving is serious sure we all have bad
days on the road, kids in the car crying and so on,, yet to have a cell phone in one hand and one on the wheel to much distraction causes serious accidents and death,,, This is a very big issue for me and I will and do all I can to promote a bill to be passed to ban cell phones.... If it is that important to make a call pull over take care of it and then get back on the road. |

why is it so bad if you have a blue tooth in your ear??? your hands are
free your eyes are on the road... its nothign more than talking to someone sitting right beside you.. i mean really why don't you ban ppl from eating in their cars, listening to their music, talking, ... etc. etc. |

The point is it takes away from the concentration you need to watch the
road ahead of you,,, Phones rings you look who is calling,,, when driving your focus should be the road,,, I am sorry not trying to bash here,,, My most dearest friend almost lost his life to a driver on the phone,, he lost his site and his legs,,, So this issues hits home hard for me... |

I agree, but they've done studies, and the fact is...cell phones are
attacked, but they aren't the issue. In places where cells are forbidden in the car, or by handsfree only, people are putting on make up in the car while talking on their ear piece and twiddling with the radio... they've done studies...and although it's unsafe...it's just in general that there are too many distractions for motorists these days |
