Well... it's not YOUR fault that you weren't around for her if her mom was behaving like a slut and needed to be tossed out. It's more HER fault for putting herself in front of the family with the adultery and stuff.

Even worse is the fact she's used her daughters essentially as weapons against you with the whole "You weren't there for me!!!" whinery. Instead of them going after you, they should go after their mother who probably went sleepin' around going from dude to dude even after you tossed her to the curb.

It's like I said Chev- you gotta hold your ground. If you give her your money, you'll only be giving her credence to do it again at a later point. She's old enough to earn her OWN money at this stage of the game, whether she thinks so or not.

Even worse is this- if you DO give her your money, then just HOW are you gonna about gettin' those parts for your trucks!

That's precisely my point- she's over the age-of-consent, so any legal or financial responsibilities to her are now null-and-void. There's only one person responsible for her now- herself. And if she can't figure THAT out by now, then she's gonna be in a world of hurt when she's in her middle-aged years and her life's in complete shambles because of her immature behavior.

And besides- if she hasn't told you SPECIFICALLY what she needed the money for, there's no telling where that money would go. For all you know, it could all be going up her nose or something.

It's like I said- you're no longer responsible for her crap. Perhaps she should go hounding one of her mom's OTHER husbands for the money instead, particularly the one she's currently married to.
