I dont think there is a good point to it no..... I use recent pics, let them know that I lean towards the "round" side and am as honest as I can be. They email me, they chat with me on IM and sometimes on camera (clean pics only) and yet when they meet me they think that I would've been thinner, prettier, WHATEVER. I'm really thinking its just easier to be single. exactly. it gets old but isn't online dating looking? |

I'm really thinking its just easier to be single. exactly. it gets old but isn't online dating looking? I think that's the initial assumption -- that there's necessarily an element of "looking" when one is focusing on "dating." The reality of it is that it's not quite so simplistic. A site like this is multi-faceted and exists, as it turns out, for many different purposes, not all of which are related to dating. For many of us, the evolutionary process here has been that we started out seeing this as a "dating site" but eventually came to see it as something entirely different. |
