What I did was pay a visit to the area to which I was moving. I looked at every place I would be interested in working. I told the managers I was looking at moving withing the next month or so and asked if they'd be interested in hiring me when I arrived. It was a while ago and jobs were more readily available, so it only took two days of looking. When I did move, I already had the job lined up.

That's what I want to do, get a job lined up before moving. I have a list of prospects. I'm going to take a week vacation and look into these places. There's one really good place, similar to what I'm doing now, it would be really wonderful if I could get in there. There's another one, similar to what I used to do, which would also be great to get into. The other places, I'm not sure about, but sound good. Of course I could always go to Wal-mart as a last resort.
