arrrrgggghhhh! For me to imagine 2 mingle members living close enough to meet launch is like close encounters of the third kind. If you'd look at the active members from my state, you'd think I own the whole damn state by myself.  Good luck though..you too!  So meet people out of state! I'll definitely meet some from here when I go to California later this summer. Sweet's right! Meet people outta state! And she'll be meetin' people out here when she makes her trip to Cali later this summer!  Yay! Like you! And Prncs.

Waaah waaah waaah.  I'm actually going to California for vacation. Not specifically to meet people from here. That's exactly what I'm saying. You go for a vacation and you might be lucky to meet others from mingle. As I said, I was not talking about going to a date, out of state, I was talking about meeting up for a dinner or coffee, having such a luck that 2 mingle members can go out and meet up like that. |

I'll definitely meet some from here when I go to California later this summer. hmmm yeah...but i'm not going to travel a 1000 miles for a launch... Moofooga and melodygirl can meet up for times like this and that's how it supposed to be. Get in my car, drive 30 minutes ,hell,even an hour - is acceptable to meet up for a coffee or dinner. Driving for 4-5hrs or more to spend one hour in a restaurant, just not gonna happen. I either go somewhere for a vacation and meet someone there, or I get to know someone so well, that i will stay for several days with her. That's the thing, though- she DIDN'T drive the whole way just to meet me, though I wouldn't have complained if she did. She had to attend a business-related function which was another hour south of where we met for lunch. We met up on her way back from her business trip, as she was pretty much starved from the drive anyway.

But, as Moofie explained, I met him because I was in the area. And, yes, I was starved by the time I got there!  Moof is only 5 hours from me, and I wouldn't put it past me to take a roadtrip for no other reason than to hang out with him -- now that I have met him. He is COOL, sexy people!
