I am an antique dealer, so I am always looking for the pot of gold for a buck or two. About 8 years ago, I went to a yard sale late in the day, that looked like it was all new stuff, but I asked if they had any old book, paintings, jewelry, blah, blah, blah. The lady brought out a box of books that her Dad had collected. I saw an old atlas on the top so asked how much for the box. She said $5.00 so I paid. In the box was a 1st edition, Wizard of Oz. I sold it in a high end book auction for $4,800.

you want a sound system so the people on the next couple blocks can party to what you play and how about some lights have 4 american dj mighty scans about 16 spot cans w/gels and w/flasher units some avenger lights and a few others mics you need some mics i have about 5 of those and a set of drum mics as well how about a 16 channel allen and heath mixing board in a road case w/100'snake or 225 amp lincoln welder, a fridge, a freezer, a wood heat stove, a 7x14 tandom axle trlr w/ramp door plus other stuff i can,t think of at the moment

I Love Yard/Garage Sales....
Last weekend I went to a few and bought.... a fondue set never used for $1 a banana in pajama's doll for $1 (anybody rememeber banana in pajama's?) a couple board games one for $2 and one for .25c 
a really cool light bulb with a piano and hands in it that lights up for $3 a picture frame with a giraffe in it for $2 a candle holder for .75c Yard Sales are sooooo Great!!! |

Almost all the stuff in my basement, I'm getting a dumpster to throw most of it away & some stuff i will donate. Most of the junk down there is stuff my mother bought at yard sales over the years. I want to build rooms & possibly a Man Town

I go on freecycle.org quite a bit to get rid of stuff and get free stuff
