Whenever I call the cable or phone company with an issue, they end up trying to talk me into changing my plan. That bothers me. thats what were "supposed" to do -- sorry When someone is calling about a problem with their service, how often do they end up changing their plan and spending more money? Just curious. honestly? depends on how good you are had one guy call in complaining real bad...and i was really nice and ended up convincing him to upgrade to the "unlimited" long distance package which "saved him money" because he was going over his long distance, he had the "300 minute" package...was using like 350 minutes....now you get charged 10 cents a minutes --- 50 x 10 cents = 5.00 the 300 minute pack is 10.00 less than the unlimited one ya gotta do what ya gotta do to make your money....but he was happy because i talked to him, and i listened |

I never get angry at customer service on the phone, however I have asked them to stop trying to sell me something else before fixing the current issue.

HAHA... I'm always irrate with people at call centers... especially Dish Network... They were harrassing me soooo much to pay a bill and I told them I HAVEN'T LIVED THERE FOR A YEAR AND A HALF... and also told them I canceled my service with them a year and a half ago. Yeah I gave them a good yellin and they stopped calling me. Sometimes it pays off to Yell

Dish Network is one of the clients I collected for. Congrats on stopping the calls. Check your credit report though, debt doesn't disappear when you yell at a collector, just the attempts to work with you do.
