Topic: Casual Friends With Some Benefits Relationship | |

Do you think that a person can have an effective casual friends-with some-benefits relationship with someone they once had a long term serious relationship with? I think it would be too easy to fall into old habits on that one. Probably not a good idea. |

This would just be a resumption/continuation of the long term relationship. |

As far as relationships are concerned, anything is possible. That does not make it a good idea for most.

Do you think that a person can have an effective casual friends-with some-benefits relationship with someone they once had a long term serious relationship with? No. That's nothing but a fiasco waiting to happen. You can go from FWB to relationship (and even THAT is suspect at best), but going from relationship to FWB is just an outright mistake. All the past drama and friction that led up to your breaking off your relationship would undoubtedly be drudged up in your FWB situation, which can only result in bad things happening. So no- don't do that. |
