He talked of Reagan's philosophies as president and then referred to Obama's philosophies as above those.

Meaning his philosophies are loftier than before, nothing more than that.

 Obama didnt say this about himself.:smile:And I remember when Bush said that he "spoke to God" and was told to attack Iraq. Then he proceeded to do just that.:smile:That's crazier than having some guy (who is being taken out of context)that most people have never heard of compare President Obama to being godlike.

I read this earlier today....there was an article saying Obama Invokes Jesus More Than Bush

so what???? it's not about BHO saying he is...it's what others think he is. saying because BHO said so as an arguement....doesn't make it true

Considering that the man was referring to Obama's philosophies versus earlier presidents, he did not refer to Obama being god like.

Obama's philosophies are more expanded then presidents before him. Whether I would describe his philosophies as god like or above the world, I doubt it. I would describe his philosophies as broader than what we are used to.

I could stomach that dragoness...but you have to admit...there are those out there that think BHO is perfect and can't do any wrong and hang on every word he says

I don't know of any. I know of those who were relieved, hopeful, energized, respectful, etc... but none that consider him perfect or believe he is going to "save us" like a messiah.

i've seen people in these very forums use as an arguement..."that's not true. Obama said"

That does not mean that they think of him as perfect or a messiah either.

What else would they be, rocks? laugh

As to the topic at hand, If Obama is a god, what does that make Lincoln? HE has an actual TEMPLE dedicated to him!

Funny; Obama studies Lincoln like no bodies business.

Obama has sparked a hope in many countries. It may be that through this president we may be more respected and be able to help those that need it, that can't get it.

I remember the night he was elected...they had cameras in so many countries. They were all jumping and cheering....waving and yelling. That was hope in the making.

Obama is not God-like nor is he a god. He has this stance...this spirit that compells one to have thought and hope (there is that word again). He wants to do so much good and make things right, I think he may be taking on a little too much. But, I give him kudos for wanting to, even trying. This one listens to people. His ears aren't shut to the cries and words of the people and the world.
