this is a VERY serious matter. We are supposed to take care of our children and do all we can to protect them. This shouldn't be taken lightly...AT ALL

I'm gonna tell u a story. About a year ago a young Mom killed her 4 month old by shakin him. It was quite evident by readin the autopsy report. She's not done one day of jail time. She now has another baby. The court has this child in custody but she will eventually get this child. This happened in the very county I live in. I could go on with even more stories that would chill u to the bone.

redd...unfortunately that happens. seems some get a slap on the wrist. and that might happen in this case...maybe probation. Luckily the children here are ok...and I hope the dad goes to court to get full custody and she ONLY gets supervised visits at most. It sickens me that some adults don't care. I'm a hude child advocate and adults can be idiots. the kids on my street (3-7 yrs old) play in the street, riding down the hil on things. parents no where in sight. they could get run over, kidnapped or somethng else...we have a child sex offender across the street from me

Caseworkers burn out quickly in that field cause of the stuff they have to deal with. It's the reason for the high turnover rate. When people complain about how CPS doesn't do their job, I say work a couple weeks in their place, perhaps then u'd have a better understandin. After workin there I have a much better understandin an I commend anyone that actually makes a career of it.

I know CPS is overworked, understaffed and underpaid. I never would want that job. most of the time it is a thankless job.

Just the stuff they have to deal with alone, that's not even considerin the under pay or over work. I'm talkin seein children abused, parents in their face screamin an threatenin them. Parent's actually gettin physical with em when they try to get a child out of a dangerous situation. Many of the workers have unlisted numbers an live in another county to avoid this kind of nonsense.

I couldn't even begin to imagine. I teach dance and I teach at a rec center for free...just to give kids that maybe can't afford classes a chance to dance. I have run across several kids that were starved for attention...anything. some of the parents just wanted a free babysitter to get rid of them for a bit. i didn't mind I just felt sad for the kids

I seriously think that parentin classes need to be taught in every junior high in America. They need to be taught with the robotic dolls.

I keep an eye out for the little ones on this street and told me son and his buddies to watch out for the little ones while they were out. sad that we watch them more than the parents

I'm known as the crazy white lady that'll get on u when u do sumthing wrong. But then I also have ice pops in the summer.
