Driving every day in many states and cities.
I see the times of change through many drivers on the highway in front of me beside me or coming at me. Speed,,,poll position, the ALL ABOUT ME ATTITUDE.. Folks PLEASE, wake up and smell the coffee as you extend your life a bit longer.. MY TRUCK CAN AND WILL KILL YOU IF IT HITS YOU OR YOU HIT IT!! PLEASE, don't JUMP IN FRONT of a semi and BRAKE, if he is not watching the road for a split second,,YOUR DEAD. If you think your faster because they seem to always move very slow,,one day they might be empty and can move REAL FAST.. I see drivers killed or badly broken up,,every week.. Many who were young and HAD,,so much more life ahead of them. PLEASE, don't tailgate the driver in front of you,,because a small fender bender can prove to be many lives lost if a semi hits the back of them all.. Many truck drivers NOW,,, ON THE ROAD drive LIKE THEIR IN A CAR.. So I BEG YOU ALL,,,stay alive and DRIVE with respect for all the other drivers that share the highway...

I appreciate this T...my kids lost two friends this past winter when they were crushed between 2 semis due to tailgating on slick roads and a chain reaction....If everyone would just slow down
|

I think a pre-requirement to get a driver's liscense should be to have to ride in a semi for a day and see how disrespected truck drivers are. My ex husband used to drive a truck and I rode with him once. I was amazed at how cars and bikes just zip in front of trucks and think you can stop on a dime.
On a funny note-I found that it is a natural reaction for someone riding in a truck to look down at the cars next to them. LOL! |
