Sal.. have you ever been to a Cracker Barrel?? They have a baked apple that is delish! it's like all the goooooood filling of an apple pie.. without the crust. Now.. put that on a warm pancake.. Ooooooooohhhhhhhhh yeah! Seriously, you need to try it!

You know...when I was touring...we ate at a few of thoes places...they were mainly down south as I recall.I used to get the chicken fried steak(a heart attack waiting to happen).But what you just described above has made me light headed and literally horny for food!

LOL .. well, I do not know that they serve that at Cracker Barrel.. but I have made pancakes like that. And the closest I could think of as something you may be familiar with is their Baked Apple.. you can buy it by the container for take out. Now.. I am sure IHOP has something like this on their menu. Or.. if ya want to try it at home... buy a can of apple pie filling. Make pancakes.. warm up the apple pie filling.. pour some on your stack of pancakes. The sprinkling of confectionary sugar really takes it to the next level of yuummmmmmmm

I tend to go to Cracker barrel more for shopping than I do to eat I love all the cool things they have there!
