What exactly is a New York style blueberry cheesecake as opposed to any other style blueberry cheesecake? I bet I know a cheesecake connosieur who can answer this if nobody else can. New York style is very thick an rich,the blueberries are in place of the strawberries or cherries. I prefer blueberries on my cheesecake. 
Isn't pretty much all cheesecake pretty think and rich? And I never realized New York had a monopoly on putting blueberries in lieu of strawberries or cherries in cheesecake. Nope not all cheesecake is created the same. Some are skinny an barely got anything to em. New York style doesn't have the monopoly on puttin blueberries on top. I just prefer the blueberries myself. New York style only really refers to the thickness an texture of the cheesecake itself.

i hate new york city Never been. Lived in upstate NY in Plattsburgh, a 6 hour drive. Lived there for 4 yrs an never had the desire to see the city. Didn't see what all the big hoopla was about.
