Topic: I now have what I call a very interresting situation... | |
---|---|
I just spoke with an attorney that specializes in these matters and I was right in that I have to give the land lord an opportunity to make good and he said I was right to have a contingency plan in place just in case. Needless to say if push comes to shove I get the place fixed. I sincerely hope in my heart that the land lord opts do do the right thing. I will know tomorrow. As it stands now I have got some planning to do just in case. Best case scenario we can work something out. Worst case scenario, I open a huge can of Whoop Ass on him. I may not be a lawyer but I know construction at least.
I hope my landlord can appreciate how expensive it is going to be to gut and redo the bathroom. He also is going to have to face the kitchen too. FUN... Fun I did not want to have because this sh*t is a royal head ache. PS... I hear thunder but I don't see any lightning. This was just supposed to be a cloudy day in LA. Maybe we will get one of those surprise hurricanes the news has been talking about! That would be FUN! |

i am glad that my pertussis inspired you to figure this crap out, heh...
blech, we had black mold in our last place, and i ended up leaving almost everything we owned behind to make certain we didn't bring it with us. we're much healthier now (other than whooping cough). be well, and good luck. legally, you're in a good spot. |

I do have to thank you because the coughing I was doing at night was driving me crazy. When I looked up the subject of Pertussis I began to finally make the distinctions I needed to know it was not an Allergy (per say, mold is an allergy until it becomes an infection) and the persistence of this condition allowed me to rule out everything else sparing me a wild goose chase with various antibiotics doctors would have thrown at this. now I also have an attorney who told me exactly how to proceed. If I get the bird, my landlord gets a summons. it all is a matter of how my landlord decides to play this. |
