So my divorce was final yesterday. The only thing that he wanted that I had was his wedding ring. I offered mine up too because I didn't want it. Now he is throwing a fit because I only gave him the two wedding bands and not my engagement ring (which he doesn't know that I threw off a bridge when we split up
 ). He insists that the engagement ring should be given back as part of the set. Is that as dumb as it sounds?

As long as he doesn't try to take it to court...which will be really stupid and another waste of his money...he shouldn't have the ring, despite the fact that the engagement ring is long gone. You can get him a paddle and a net...tell him to swim for it.
