Curled up on the couch together On a chilly summer evening My head rested on your chest. I can hear your breathing, heart and voice Through my ear pressed up against your chest I feel your fingers run smoothly through my hair. The exchange of words flows freely between us No need to see your face I can tell your reaction By the echoing in your chest. It is good that you cannot see my face Because the sweetness of your words Have brought tears into my green eyes. I relax even more in your arms My voice softens just like the glow of the candles Sleep enters my head as I dream about your words. Tanya 6-2-2009
