I can't understand why this still happens when so many states have now inacted safe haven laws to prevent this sort of thing.
Not too long ago a woman abandoned her young child on a porch in the middle of the night, in the next town over. It didn't take them long to find her. Come to find out she's had many run ins with DHS an has had other children removed from her. It's just sad an horrific that this sort of thing still goes on when there are safe haven laws.
