Did anyone go out of their way to do something nice

And no I am not looking for any praise in any way shape or form

I was talking to my neighbor a few hours ago
Most of her children have left the nest so to speak
She was all alone today which struck me as kind of sad
So I am in the process of making her dinner
I thought that I would be nice to someone's Mom since mine lived so far
away and I could only call and mail her a gift

Did anyone else have an experience like this that they would like to
share?

no not to day but on tusday I will I volenteer at a food bank and I was
thinking that me and my kids can make them paper roses.

I didn't today.... lol... my good deed wasnt even about a mom...
yesterday was my ex's birthday. So I cooked him dinner..

I saw a women get beaten on the streets for her purse by a gang of
teenagers.

I stopped over at my Mom's neighbor's house to chat for a while.

She's in her 80's and most of her kids live out of state, so I wanted to
let her know she was on my mind.

I even wished my ex a Happy Mothers day
even though I don't get along with her
She still deserves praise for what she went through

Hey Chris, it takes a special person to give to another who has no one
to spend mothers day with. That was a very sweet gesture, I'm sure your
mom must be a great mother to have brought up such a thoughtful child.


Unfortunately my mother has been passed on for twenty years. I would
give almost anything in the world to be able to just spend Mother's day
with her.

This post is a wee bit late and well....while I don't see
it as a good deed I spent part of the day attending the Mother's Day
social at the local nursing home where my mom is a resident.
Had a great time,and since I used to work there it was like coming
home. I had moms to hug ranging in age from 18 to 93.
Oh and the 18 year old was the mom-to-be of my grandbaby. And if her
choice of cookie color(pink) is any indication it's gonna be a girl!!
Seriously though we should find out Teusday if it's a girl or boy.
Unless of course the little bugger takes a page out of his/her daddy's
book and hides the important parts...lol!!
