Topic: How MUCH........ | |

How much would you give up for a distant relationship?
Would you move to another city? Give up a job? Etc..... |
|

If it were a job only I would move but I have lots of family in my area and that is what would make it tough. I guess it depends how far!

I wont give up the couch if I am cranky with him, and he's in the kitchen...
...that's about all the distance I can manage at the moment... |

I wouldn't give up anymore than I could afford to lose |

he gave up pretty much everything, including the west coast for the east...and let's just say, you don't know someone until you live together...so you should tread very lightly with an LDR. not saying it's impossible, and i'm sure for some it would work out, but before you uproot, be damn sure the guts feeling it.

It really is all a gamble...things can go not the way you had hoped so that is a good reminder to only risk what you can afford to lose. On the other hand, the risk can sometimes be worth it. My sister met someone from the opposite side of the country, he moved here and they've been together for almost 2 years now. You just never know! |

I'm more than willing to move to Idaho from NY but in this crappy economy I can't afford to give up a job that I have put 19 + years into. Especially since the money would be so much better there than here, my salary comes with me. So I stay here and wait for a transfer and he knows exactly why I haven't left yet.

I have met someone from a dateing site let me take that back we never met but we always talked over the phone and we been doing that about 5 years now and he wanted me to come where he is at but let me get back to your subject! no you should not move from where you live to be with someone!!! I did that lol and that was for my dad!!!!!! He lives in kentucky and I moved from Milwaukee I knew noooooooooo one there and the city bus system was not right and most of all it cost big time!!!!! it cost me $1014.00 by the time it was said and done! and I was not happy!!!!! if you do move to be with someone think hard about it cuz it will change your life big time!!! But I know finding someone that is right for you in your city, town is hard just like tryin to find a job but you just gotta keep looking and you will find someone!!!!!!!!!! I hope this helped??? if not sorry!
