I've always dreamed of creating my own planet. In this thread I would like to invite you to help me design a new world. I'm sure that some of you will have a difference of opinion as to what you think would be ideal. If this occurs pretend your creation is on an island with it's own ecosystem. Or possibly on a different planet in the same universe. Don't be intimidated to say if you don't quite like something, we are creating this thing together. I'm really exited to see what my fellow happy minglers will come up with.
I have a lot of ideas but here are just a few to get us started: Some trees would have purple leaves. I would make lots of animals with ornate horns.(yes they would be very horny!  )
It would be cool if I could make hot and cold air a different color so you could see what temperature it is just by looking outside. Imagine what a tornado would look like! There would be light as air cloud creatures that you could communicate telepathically with. They don't speak with words but pictures. So if you wanted a cloud to take a certain shape you only have to imagine it. OK that's all you get for now.........lets make a cool thread happen right now! |

 creatures simular to sea rays would frolic in the sky and at night they would rub thier tails together creating a light show that made the fire flies gather in droves and cover the vegitation will a glow of approval

On my island there would be butterflies with fangs, jet black wings tipped in spines of ruby red.
The sun would shine there only when it was wanted. The moon would be red upon rising but turn into the whitest of whites once high in the velvet night sky. Surrounded by water that embraces all the shades of blue there are and many that are only in my mind you could see the merfolk as they swim by. But my suggestion would be to stay out of the water when their around. The ground on my island would be of the richest black, fertile and ready for planting. My roses would come in every single color and would never cross polinate, they would stay pure. Storms over my island would be hair raising things, lightening that would cage you so that your hair stands on end and you could pass the charge from one person to another with the touch of a finger. Giant cats will prowl my land, with huge pointed teeth like the sabertooth, only their fur would be onyx black with blue highlights and eyes as green as emeralds. |

on a swing in a playground with sky in your hair and wind rushing by... she's clothed in daffodils you wish she would call you the girl with kaleidoscope eyes... swirl on a platform that turns in a stream bluegreen washing over your face look for the girl with the puzzles for eyes and she's gone.... =-=-=-=-=-= slides bend around in impossible circles end higher when they turn about... ladders go nowhere you step out in air to fly with your wings stretching out... wild teeter-totters bend in between putting both up and then both back down... jump ropes slide sideways like big rubber bands which oscillate along the ground... jumping gets higher and higher and higher til everything's small all around... clouds drifting downward blue's getting darker she's back in your arms you both float away... So now I know that my planet needs a defender. anyone got any ideas? wierdos in tights need not apply. Captain planet he's our hero gonna cut pollution down to zero gonna help him put asunder bad guys who like too lute and plunder 'Cause we're the planetiers and you can be one too 'cause saveing our planet is the thing to doo! Nice.........What type of creature would the cat prey on? I was thinking about giant tree hugging squirl bunnys. They have a type of camoflage that makes it impossible to see them by looking directly at them. The sabers would have to have evolved extremely good periferal vision. |
