drinker drinker drinker Community,No I dont think so, More like a mob I posted some real events going on in my life.Im sorry that you all are in some cyber make believe land.Laugh at some one elses sorrow? Question ones validity? You who dont know what an ex pat is?My GF as you put it is not paralized, shes on life support.Failed spinal fusion,Is that so hard to believe?Island in Panama. How many of you even know where Panama is.Let alone been there? The bald head of suspiscion rears its ugly head.Who is the fraud?Someone sitting alone in their middle class suburban slum,or someone living their life to the fullest?Yeah I lied,Im not 54 Im 59,Take a good look

You have floated past our island and of course it's make believe. Don't be a ninnyhammer. I don't know what you are talking about with the spinal fusion but it sounds very unfortuneate and I'm sorry about that.
We are protective of one another and whether someone has hair or not, has a job or not, can dance or not, is gay or straight, black or white, fused or not...we have grown to care about each other. If we were exclusive I'm sure we didn't mean to be so. Also, be it ever so humble there's no place like my home and it ain't no slum.flowerforyou

oh yeah this sure looks like the post of someone with a gf on life support laugh

also would someone who's gf was on life support be online 'looking for a woman for dating'? I don't think so! drinker

Most of us know, 1+1=2, common sense, is usually right & smoke clears with a breeze. Also, sometimes you just have to consider the source of information.

Suburban slum is a (creative writing 101) metaphor.Sao Paulo is in Brazil its at 23 latitude south of the equator, putting it in the southern hemisphere,or south america.Bocas del toro Panama is 8 degres lattitude north of the equator.the northern hemisphere,or in central americas.Dr Louis Pimenta,a world renowned neuro surgeon has offices in Sao Paulo, and San Diego Ca.He is a pioneer in minimal envasive spine surgery, and operates here in Brazil at Santa Rita Hospital Sao Paulo, Hence my presence in Brazil. His spinal implant company Neuvasive is traded on the NYSE ,I am not looking for a girlfriend, just a native english speaker. The language of Brazil is Potugese, very few english or spainish speakers. My GF had a preexisting (unknown before her back surgery) condition that was exasperated by her surgery, and had to have part of her intestine removed, causing septic shock, and the need for mechanical ventalation. That is about as plain as I can make it,and hopefully connects those dots.

Sorry about you & your friends problems. We all have our problems to bear. It is how we share them with others, that influences their replies. If everything doesn't add up,there are naturally QUESTIONS.
Apparently some of the original info. for this thread is gone, so naturally, that brings more questions. I would reccommend not taking offense, follow site rules & get known better. Seem to have been a bad start?

Just my thoughts.

I've grown to like our little island out in the middle of nowhere. It's kind of a nice place to go when you don't want any hassles from ANYBODY. If ANYBODY isn't happy with the island they should go be by the bedside of a sick friend or charting a map for people. Now, I'm going to go make a bikini out of cocoanuts and a fig leaf with seaweed strings. tongue2
