This truck will be paid for in January and I was planning on hiring a team to run it...

2500 Watts would also power a fridge(I have a 12v cooler now), LCD/DVD Satellite(have the laptop now), Coffee maker(12v 12 cup pot takes an hour and a half almost) and a Microwave.

it is tough to make a truck into a home, but when you are on long haul 16 weeks at a time you tend to miss the simple things like 110 volts from the wall... LOL

k ill walk into the stupid guy who didnt know enough about "what he was discussing" i guess corner and say...yeah do it seems like a good idea

Well when you get that inverter, fridge, microwave, satellite TV, queen+ size bed, just lemme know. I can drive anything on wheels, treads, or tracks and have a trip to make up the east coast if ya need something delivered that way.

Ahhhh I was wondering why you'd subject yourself to that... I wouldn't waste the money on a microwave for the truck I don't think.. I'd probably just keep easy to make stuff for those times.. pbj, etc....

oh I still dig on some PB&J action, make up some sammiches in the morning and toss 'em in the lunch bag til I get hungry in the afternoon.

Yep that's what I would do... When I fly I sometimes buy a sandwich and waters beforehand so I don't have to eat the airline food if there is any and I don't have to wait for water...

That is funny... I got caught up in Northern Montana over Thanksgiving this last year. I was fighting to get home but the little bit of snow and ice was making the run hard, so I hit this rest area and called home to let everyone know I was not going to make it... Twenty minutes go by and my Mom calls back to tell me I need to eat more than those silly survival meals... I told her I had peanut butter too. She said if I were there I would be getting smacked for being a smartass.
