Hey I just thought I'd throw this out there-
What about having a non-fathers day on the saturday before fathers day?
Really there is no holiday for people who don't have children,it would be on saturday so you could recover on sunday!
It would be a good excuse to get together with all of your friends that don't have children and have a little celebration.
You could get together and ponder the benefits of not having kids(no diapers-allowances-worries about there welfare etc)
I don't know,Maybe I'm just looking for an excuse to party but it sounds like a good idea.
What do you all think?

I never wanted to just jump in and have kids. I grew up in poverty and do not want my kids to know what that is like. That and the world is overpopulated as it is.

On top of that I don't have to get up at god awful hours in the morning to get them to school, put up with bickering and tude, or get calls from school saying my kid just hurled chunks in class.

When I am rich and don't have to worry about where my next dime is coming from I would think about it then but now? I have yet to meet a woman I want to have kids by.

So whoever said every day was a party, you are so damn close my friend!
Still I do want to have my cake and eat it too. Where is our holiday????

U also don't get all the pleasures that go with having kids.
The hugs and kisses just because. The I love u just because. The drawings that they make for u.
Sure being a parent is the hardest job in the world but it is also the most rewarding and pleasurable job.I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world.

I don't have kids and never will, so I think this is a great idea.

On the other hand, I don't party, so it's not like I would have anything to recover from.

I suppose what it all boils down to is this -- while a holiday would be OK, I'd rather have a little more tolerance and understanding from those who insist on vilifying me because I've chosen not to reproduce.

dude seriously?

you couldn't just say "i'm good without kids." ??? lol

and our non kid having peoples holiday is every damned day you wake up not having to change a diaper, mix smelly weird powdered formula, wipe up spittle and deal with screaming children.

hell that in and of itself makes me smile every day :)
