Seriously. This is a really hard choice sometimes.

let's say in a potenital relationship or current relationship...your brain is telling you it won't work out for logical reasons, but your heart is telling you it will be ok

My heart has led me down a path of sorrow & near ruin in the past so it is imperative that I follow my mind's compass now & in the future.

Ultimately, it probably depends on the person.
For me, if I'm able to tolerate whatever level of risk is involved, I'll take the gamble on what my heart tells me to do. Really scary stuff at times...but if you can take the worst life can deal, a least you won't be looking back asking "what if?" |

I dont know, but at that point I keep away from the wallet, and the refridgerator.

Personally I let the voices argue it amongest themselves until they've reached a decision an then take it from there

I usually follow my mind, but recenty I followed my heart and my mind ended up telling me 'I told you so' It was embarassing

Usually my mind. Hell being on the net, if i listen to my heart more then my mind. Id be in a hell of a lot more trouble then i am now.

The trick is splitting the difference and heeding both...
been to more than one dance honey... when my emotions start running away with me (good or bad)..I gotta force myself to remember my past experiences... When I find myself being analytical in an emotionless way..I gotta force myself to remember that everything I do, I am doing to find love and happiness. It ain't easy. |

Sometimes it's very hard to decide which to listen to. I have that same problem sometimes..

ty to all that contributed. it's nice knowing I'm not alone in the war between heart and mind lol. lately I try to listen to both and if my mind is telling me don't do it....they are red flags and watch out. that doesn't mean I don't do it though lol...but then I have at least learned something.
