I get bunches of them, I especially like the ones from the
"barristers" taking me into their confidence, as their client has
passed away and didn't leave any heir for their estate and the "barrister" has selected me as the lucky person to "share" the estate with, but only if I "don't tell anyone." Yeah, right, I won' tell.

They are such a bunch of jerks. I do feel bad for the people who fall for this crap though. I have heard of elderly people sending money to people and getting ripped off, etc.

Oh well, we used to get junk mail through the post office, now it is on the internet, whoppee!!!

One guy wanted me to accept "cash" and forward it on to him in West Africa, I said no thanks, not getting involved in anything illegal, he said "but it is not illegal, it is my pay" - I still said no, then he said will you at least open me up an "offshore account?" Sounded a whole lot like money laundering to me, no thanks. Didn't bother writing him back again. I am not getting involved with any money for anyone.

Have heard from guys in Nigeria, Dubai, West Africa, and Ghana, the dude from Ghana has asked me for money 5 times now, I finally got mad at him and he stopped writing.
