Not that there is anything wrong with having high standards, but wow! I did read some of your profile, then I looked down and realized that I had a layer of dust on me from sitting so long. Maybe I will finish it on vacation. It's one of the "mixed blessings" of being a writer -- writing becomes a sort of monolithic outlet -- but with something like my profile, as long and convoluted as it is, people either love it or basically run from it. And that's OK. It is possible that the kind of person you seek uses a dating site...unless she has no hands to type with! It is possible. I think it's astronomically unlikely; but I haven't done any formal surveys using statistically significant amounts of data. The odds are that if anyone like that IS using a dating site, it's a site I've never heard of, on the other side of this (or maybe even a different ) planet, and I will never know. You are eloquent, no doubt, and it is a blessing. I didn't run from it, I merely clicked away. I wonder if, sometimes, people try too hard to set themselves apart from the crowd? |

who is on this site to just throw all there options out everywhere they can to find love? and who beleives they will find true love on mingle? im skeptical but willing to take the small risk I think most of us here are hopeful but not necessarily banking on it! |
