People have come to know me by my primary profile picture. I really like it and I think it says a bit about who I am. However it is just over a year old and I really think it time to update it.

Now I've had comments both directions as to whether people like the picture in the first place but a large majority seem to like it... for the above reason.

So I'm considering just taking a similar picture with me and Midnight (the dog) and reposting the new pic of the new me (20 lbs lighter and a year older). Or should I just come up with something completely different?

Opinions?

I say why not? Do what you feel is best. I personally think it is a sweet and cute picture of you and Midnight but that is my opinion. He he. A year is a while to not have an updated pic esp if you do look noticeable different.

Like I said though. Your choice.

You know I love you and Sh!thead!! He is part of who you are and that is a very important thing, but I also know a lot more about you than other people and there is a lot to know!!

Not fair for me to answer but I will probably take the pics anyway so let's just start clickin and see what we get.

I have other more up-to-date pictures in my profile, and I do upload different ones from time to time. I just want an updated main image and trying to decide what to do with it. It'll include the dog no matter what

Thank you. I am leaning that direction. I think at this point it's a case of just how similar the picture will be.

It's a great picture and makes you look really young. I don't know how you could improve on it.

I don't have a problem looking my age, though people tell me I don't in general anyway thank you though for the compliment

I'm really considering getting into dogs... Unlike women I've been with so far, a dog will love me unconditionally, never break my heart and never make me feel insignificant by telling me that I can only be a small part of its life... Best part of all, Mr. Davey, a dog can't nag me all day cuz it can't speak...!

Keep the dog in the picture. Keep it recent. Maybe one outside with less stuff in the background so it's just you and midnight.

Personally I don't see anything wrong with your picture, but if you want to update the picture... do the outside shot.

I'm thinking this weekend would be a good time to take some new pics but we can also take some here at home if you like

I don't really think there is anything wrong with it either, it's just that I don't feel like I can say yes when people ask if it's recent. But really if I took the same shot today it wouldn't appear noticeably different.

Yeah a new pic might not be so bad. Keep the doggie and show your face a bit better. But hell, you've already been given plenty of good advice; what does mine matter?

If you have a digital with a self timer you can take many photo's in a short period of time.......just delete ones you do not like......

If you do not have one have someone take the photo's of you....that could be fun
