I agree on that. A friend is sketchy but a trusted family member should be okay.

With someone you trust explicitly, and who knows how to take care of babies.........whenever you are comfortable. Just be careful to not make it an "all the time" thing to avoid being a parent..........which I'm sure you are not. (Sorry, had to add that due to experience with relatives who leave their kids with their parents more than they take care of them...........)

I WOULD NEVER DO IT ALL THE TIME ITS JUST FIRST OFF I LOVE MY SON WITH EVERYTHING INSIDE ME. ITS JUST I'M KIND OF LIKE I NEED TO GET OUT OF THE HOUSE AND GO HAVE A TEA OR GO BUY A NEW OUTFIT OR SOMETHING. AND I USED TO WORK BUT WHEN I GOT PREGNANT I QUIT MY JOB TO STAY HOME AND RAISE MY SON.

My son had his first sleepover with my sister when he was less than 6 weeks old. He didn't sleep, I didn't sleep, I was exhausted and my sister just came and picked him up and took him back to her house for the night. Best thing for him, he's been having sleepovers ever since (he's 14 now). He never had separation anxiety, went to camp for 2 weeks at 7 and never gave me a thought.

So long as you're not doing it every night, being apart from your kids is healthy for the both of you flowerforyou
