Okay here it is. All serious which I rarely am here.
I would want someone who thinks I hung the moon. He knows I am not perfect, accepts me faults and all, but yet continues to treat me as though I am the end all and be all of his universe. He loves my smile and my laugh and he doesn't make me cry. He is not threatened by a ghost of my past husband as he is confident in himself, and in our here and now. He is mindful of me, always. He thinks of me when we are apart, considers my feelings and disagrees with me in an adult tone with explanation, not anger or a "how could you possibly feel like that". He Wants to spend time with me, he doesn't have to be forced to. He confides his deepest thoughts to me, his pains to me, his hopes and plans, knowing they will go no farther, as I do him. He is the first person I want to see in the morning and the last face I want to see when I got to sleep at night. He holds me in his arms, and it is safe there. Safe from past fears and past agonies. He is my safe place to fall. He heals my heart. He feeds my soul. |
