HUNTSVILLE, AL - It's graduation season all across the country. Thousands of students spent years to get their bachelors, masters and doctoral degrees.

However, many people have bought phony diplomas. In Part 1 of our Taking Action Investigation, WHNT NEWS 19 showed you how fake degrees have infiltrated the enlisted ranks of the U.S. Army.

Now, our investigation reveals this breach of trust goes all the way to the top civilian ranks at Huntsville's Redstone Arsenal.

The fake degree is in the hand of a key essential leader at the U.S. Army's Aviation and Missile Command, AMCOM. The bogus diplomas are against policy, put a person's integrity in question, and make them a potential target for blackmail.

As Director of Readiness for the Army's Aviation and Missile Command, Chris Oleyte carries the weight of America's missile defense readiness on his shoulders. He's also carrying other baggage.

I agree with the blackmail aspect of it. I had a secret clearance when I was in the Air Force, and they watch you very carefully.

As I remember it its a crime to tell people you have or have had a secret clearence . A goverment as stupid as ours , clearences are the least of your problems . So is the cheater with the foney degree .
As I watch tv I see people who graduated with honors with all types of degrees who can,t answer 3 grade questions . So far no one with a 4.5 + grade average has made to the 6 grade . WE HAVE BEEN TAKEN OVER BY IDIOTS .
And I am not talking about any of the partys but the people in them that took over both partys .... enjoy the third world you are fastly becoming a new citazen of it ... AREN,T YOU PROUD !

A 4.5 grade ave can be achieved by extra credit work . Some students do that to make getting into better schools easier . AW I thought all schools did that . Sorry ..
I did some classified work and you would lose your clearance . My uncle had a higher clearance than me said it was the same for him .
