I didn't hear about old people I heard he was arrested in London for abusing his mother and sister... Now with the Terminator film they have said that he insisted on being John Connors, then that wasn't enough he's insisted on them writing a bigger part for John Connors... I don't know true or not but it sure doesn't sound like a nice person...

Actually, neither story is true-

What happened with Bale's mother and sister was that they tried to extort him for a half-million bucks. The both of them claimed it was to take care of the sister's kid, which kinda ended up not being the case.

Also- it was director McG who insisted that Bale play Connor, as G thought he could "make the film more legit" (meaning G's directorial skills were probably sub-par and they needed someone to make up for all of that nonsense).

The tirade Bale did on the T4 set was because the DP (director of photography) kept messing with the stage lights while he was trying to perform a dramatic scene. Not only is it unprofessional, but it's also quite disrespectful to the actor, whose concentration will be elsewhere than on the scene.

I still don't like Bale, though.
