I still support Obama, I think he is showing great wisdom in his decisions. I like it that he has the ablilty to change some of his ideas after he has seen the whole picture and NOT just stick with his original plan, it shows he has great adaptibility to the situation at hand

I still support him too.

I support his as far as I did before the election. I don't agree with many things he's done, I do agree with some others... including some of the flip-flops that I knew he'd have to do. I also think we could have done far better than him, but McCain definitely was not it. If he had won I'd have already closed the doors on my business sold my house and moved to some place as inexpensive as I could find.

You cant march in to Wash and say, "Im taking back the gov for the people."

You'd be shot down at once by every politician in Wash.
You have to fight the battles with tact and design.
Give a little there, take a little here. Always with the thought in mind that you intend to come back and take the there later.

You'd have to be a mix of politician, salesman, and con-artist or you'd never get anywhere. You'd be shot down from day one!

Give him time and watch. This is a man who has already accomplished a feat I thought Id never see. Imagine a Black President.
He's a dreamer, an intellectual, and a realist.
I think he knows how to play the game.

Without Congressional approval, the President now has the power to transfer whole populations to any part of the country, the power to suspend the Press and to force a national registration of all persons. The President, in essence, has dictatorial powers never provided to him under the Constitution. The President has the power to suspend the Constitution and the Bill of Rights in a real or perceived emergency. Unlike Lincoln and Roosevelt, these powers are not derived from a wartime need, but from any crisis, domestic or foreign, hostile or economic. Roosevelt created extraordinary measures during the Great Depression, but any President faced with a similar, or lesser, economic crisis now has extraordinary powers to assume dictatorial status.
