Thank you all who have shared. It mean a lot to me. People in the town that I live in know just about everything I went through and kind of have pity in their eyes. I don't want pity. I just want to move on with our lives.

I just got my oldest daughter signed up for college. She took almost a year off due to our house burning down and her dad's passing. I took her to purchase some items for school and I can't tell you how happy she was. She said she feels like she actually has a purpose each day now. She works and has never stopped during everything that has went on this past year. It felt so positive last night watching her looking over her books and getting her stuff ready for classes. Life is starting to turn around for us, I believe.

Anyone else have any positive things happening for them?
