I looked up the showtimes for Star Trek and saw that it was being shown on two screens. One was the usual and the other was a "digital presentation"
What is that? |

They film most these movies with a digital camera anymore. So then in theatres, they have to transfer the digital movie onto actual film. Most theatres dont have digital projectors, or they have one.
Digital is supposed to be a better projection. Think blu ray at the movie theatre. But the difference is negligible, and only benefits big cgi blockbusters. |
