Since the local School system does not offer Driver's ed.....I will use the 40 hour Parent/Teen Curriculum offered by the state, as an alternative to the $600.00 driver's ed school.......

I tought my oldest daughter to drive and she is a way better driver than my youngest one. The youngest one I put through drivers ed and paid $400.00 and drove with her for 6 months with a permit. She had two wrecks within 16 days of getting her license. Scares me everytime she is behind the wheel now. I make her call when she arrives and leaves anyplace. Maybe it was just the difference between the two girls but the older one listens better the younger is a leader and thinks she is always right. Drives me insane at times. Good luck. i took drivers ed in school(thats been about 28yrs ago) but yet i still dont know how to drive. i even got behind the wheel several times.
in fact there was junior high teacher that i didnt have but a friend of mine did. he retired from teaching and was teaching drivers ed and at that time he was cheapest in town(this was about 19-20yrs ago)
and he was charging $20. i dont even know if he is still teaching it or even alive.

My son cant even pass the written learners test. Im kind of glad......but not.

We dont have drivers ed in schools here. Instead we pay for driving lessons through the nose!!!
