My sis and I were planning a trip to the Smokies next month. I have never been. I had my vacation approved and her granson took ill she missed alot of work and now her vacation time is gone :( I was just looking at cabins in Gatlinburg last night. They have some really nice ones there. holy cow! check on www.smokymtncabins.com Just makes me sad lol We were going to go to all the shops and the Ripleys! Grrr... I haven't been to Gatlinburg in over 20 yrs. I'd love another trip there. It is beautiful there in the Autumn.

As old as I am and as many years I have worked I have never had a true vacation! I am really bummed this one fell through! Maybe y'all can plan it again for the fall. If you do, I'd suggest booking soon. They fill up quickly with people wanting to see the leaves change, not to mention football games in Knoxville, which is Right there. |

Yeah but that would mean you don't remember any thing about it. We went a lot when I was young with family vacations. And I went for a weekend in fall of 87 but that was too short of a trip to see everything.

School is almost out. The weather is warming up. So, where are you going on your summer vacation? I realize times are rough for so many, but do you have any plans? We (Robin, I, and the kids) recently booked a two-week vacation in Florida, on the gulf. So, if anyone is enroute the I75 and would like to set us up for the night, it'd be greatly appreciated! |
