Giving a child gum or a something chewy is a calming technique actually. It also works on adults. While taking a test try chewing gum and you will score better. It relieves stress.

It relieves stress. i never knew this!!! i do know in my kid's school they don't allow gum, but then again they don't allow cell phones to be on, but we know that doesn't hold true. i'll have to try this out during homework time! thanks! |
