I need a vacation from everything. Anyone have any ideas on cheap vacation spots in the U.S. for singles? I don't want to spend alot of money, I just need to get away for a while without spending much money.

There are all kinds of inexpensive vacations, just depends on what it is that you enjoy doing as far as vacationing. Are you looking for beaches, resorts, etc., or are you looking for more outdoorsy activities......?

I go on a single's cruise every year! This year I'm booked in Oct for the Mexican Riviera for two weeks. That's rather long but you can go just for 3 day/4 night deals too.

The cost isn't bad if you get the basic cabin. I like the suite with a balcony though. As much fun as the party can be, I like to stay in my room, read, and get away for a bit. I don't want to end up in a hamster box for that, so I go BIG on the cabin.

For just a basic cabin, you would probably only spend $1,500 or so for 7 days and that includes everything but booze and activities. That's pretty cheap!

Do a google search for 'singles cruise' and you find info!

Wow, that's not a bad price, I might look into something like that.

I had a GREAT time in Vegas and hardly spent any money at all.

I'm not a gambler anyway and I went with my children so it wasn't even possible if I were.

Just walking through the hotels along the strip is impressive and kept us busy for four days. The Bellagio has a water/light/music show a couple of times a night which was my favourite part. The gondola ride at the Venetian was another highlight.

Flights out of Toronto to Vegas have been MUCH cheaper in recent weeks as well. I'm thinking about going over the Christmas holidays myself.
