Make a marriage work when the other party doesn't listen to you?

We seem to have the same conversations about what's goin on, and
everything just stays the way it was. All there really is is broken
promises and shattered dreams.

just stay true to yourself ....that is all we can ever do..

You know we are all pertty much single here so you may be asking the
wrong group of people....



But I will say this talking is nothing without postive actions to back
it up.

and many other things...it might not be over...

To everyone, thank you for the replies. I just was freakinout and needed
some words of encouragement, thanx to those of you with constructive
ideas. Rivergirl, I'm sorry that I offended your
holier-than-thou-ass..........wait, no.........I'm not sorry. You
didn't have to post anything at all if you're gonna be a b*tch. I was
lookin for help, and got from you that I was "repugnant". Thanx for the
help, and the insight into who you really are. No wonder you're freakin
single.

Perhaps counseling or a mediator...someone to recognized the
communication gap and make a bridge.

I'm not an expert at maritial affairs...I never made it to the alter.

I love her with all my heart, and am not goin anywhere. I just don't
want us to end up like my parents, together but not happy. Ya know?

Red, think I was were you are with my ex, he never listened to what I
said. I agree with the ones who said to work on communication. I would
talk to your wife and explain how it makes you feel when she doesn't
listen to you, maybe she is just busy with what is going on in her world
and doesn't realize she is treating you this way. Sometimes pointing
things out calmly to the other person helps. But keeping the
communication open is key. Surprise her with a dinner out or flowers or
something to get her attention and then bring up the issue of talking
and have a nice conversation. Just a thought. Good luck.
