I smoked. Then I quit. I simply stopped. Bugged me a lot for a few days,
then it stopped bothering me. Two weeks after I quit I pretty much
forgot about smoking. It didn't cost me anything to quit but it saved me
some money immediately. I guess that was 20 years ago. Long time huh?

I could start smoking again if I wanted I suppose, but the only ashtray
I have is built into the brickwork in the side of my house. I'm no
longer strong enough to turn the house upside down to empty the ashtray,
so I guess I better not start again.

buttons, from my experience, what you have to do, if you TRULY want to
quit, is just "tough it out." If you "allow" yourself to suffer the
withdrawal, I promise you it does pass in time.

For all of you that are trying to quit smoking.Keep up the good
work.Quitting smoking is one of the most important things you will ever
do.I smoked for 24 years four packs a day and have been smoke-free for 8
year.I know its hard but it's well worth it.Keep up the good work and
DON"T GIVE IN!!!!!!!!!

I read somewhere that if you start to crave, just fight it for 5 minutes
and it will go away.

In my experience I found it to be true.

Either that or you could walk up to someone and French kiss them for
five minutes. That oughta do the trick.
