Hi there:

Whatever happens to all those "Maybe" and "Yes" buttons on matches that I have been clicking for the past 6 months?????

It seems strange that I have not received even one response.

Does anyone have the name of a Mingle-person-in-charge that I could ask?

Thanks very much and good luck to everyone,

SuCanTu

You may click Maybe or Yes, but if the other person clicks No, they disappear into Mutual Match land. Best suggestion is to mingle in the forums - people get a chance to get to know you, and you're more likely to get some responses :)

Welcome, btw!

Hello, SuCanTu. Once a match had been made, it's up to either of the two people involved to start the interaction. I do see that you have a number of matches. You can see them all on the following page, in case you were not aware of this.

Hi there:

Yes, I do have matches but no responses from them. The matches just seem to be added to a list of possible matches but then there is no follow up and the list just keeps getting longer.

I respond to the list sometimes but then I never hear anything afterwards.

So, I guess from the reply from you and ladywolf, the other person has decided not to respond (I wonder who is matching me up with them???). That's ok - I just wondered because there were several that I clicked on and never received a response and I wondered if its really possible to meet someone on this website.

Thanks guys for your replies - at least I got some real feedback from some real people!!

BEst regards,
SuCanTu

If that was not a rhetorical question, it's the Mingle2 program's logic that is coming up with the matches. Some people have had success with Mutual Match, while others have gotten to the point that they do not bother with it anymore. Like dating, I suppose, it's a roll of the dice. In any case, we wish you luck.
