So what is it you're looking for? Pompous virtuosity? Technical greatness? Something tasty or that really adds to a song, perhaps making a good song great?

Stairway to Heaven.... Great one. Some other great Jimmy Page moments: Dazed & Confused, Heartbreaker, Since I've Been Loving You. |

So what is it you're looking for? Pompous virtuosity? Technical greatness? Something tasty or that really adds to a song, perhaps making a good song great? stairway is true, and its also undeniably righteous. no doubt in my mind, i guess i just kinda sell them short a bit. ive listened to everything theyve had (my favorite is II, thank you is phenominal) but everyone knows theyre awesome. at least to me. i think expanding musical horizons- all will benefit. |

Young man, my musical horizons are expanded about as far as my ears will let them. I've listened to guitarists ranging from Robert Johnson to John Petrucci of Dream Theater. Guess what? I still prefer Robert Johnson even though he's been dead for 70+ years. I will always give something a listen, but if it does not appeal to my ear then it becomes a dead issue for me. I'm not saying that Petrucci is not a great guitarist just that I do not like the sound. |

The End - Abbey Road
George, John & Paul each take one bar to solo - following Ringo's awesome drum solo. My god, that's so cool. |
