You came from far away somewhere,
Electricity, seemed to charge, the air. twinkling eyes and golden hair, why sit here, playing solitare? your style no doubt, was debonair, a gentleman, who doesn't swear, handsome, charming, all too rare, not too many men compare. What started as a light afffair, could have happened anywhere, you could have been a millionaire, or penniless, I didn't care. I had so much, with you, to share, I know now, i was unfair. I'm not blind, nor unaware, we should've made more time, for prayer. 'My tears flow freely, wrapped in pain memorys trapped, that will remain, The castle, where you'll always reign, the cooling bubbles, of champagne the passion, we could not restrain, that mournful whistle, of the train. The uncertainty, that left a stain. The jelous anger, that left love, slain. how did we get such bitterness? did we struggle to possess?' or was it an inability, to confess? or did we let ouselves, obsess, past the point, of willingness expanding on, the craziness, hoping soon , god might bless order, to our chaotic mess. written by vicky myers |
