The noise of clawing and odd screeching continues. Whatever is in the attic it seems to be getting Criani's belongings destroyed.
"Oh dear, oh dear. I don't think Criani wants her things destroyed in the attic," bellows the small hobbit Samwise. |
The hole to admit someone to the attic is too small for the large minotaur. He considers chopping it out but thinks twice. He does not want to anger its owner.

Boromir looks up the stairs and sees the Minotaur staring at the trap door.
"Are you alright there Draven?" he asks. |
Yes little one,, but i am too large to get into that small hole,,, maybe i could give you a blade and toss you up there to investigate.

Yes little one,, but i am too large to get into that small hole,,, maybe i could give you a blade and toss you up there to investigate. "NO no I am no fighter. I am now a seer, yet what I can do is use the staff to push open the trap door. Perhaps then whatever is wrecking havoc in Criani's attic will jump down," Boromir offers. He walks up the stairs and halfway up the ladder putting the shaft of the staff on the door. "Are you ready?" Boromir asks breathing hard full of anticipation. |
Draven rears back with his axe waiting for Boromir to open the trap door
Boromir pushes the door open quickly with the staff and jumps down from the ladder.
Suddenly a loud screech occurs! Gargoyle P:15 M:9 Hitpoints 10/10 Roll one 1d6 die! |

The gargoyle rolls a 4
Gargoyle Physical has 15 + 4 = 19 vs Draven Minotaur Warrior has 21 + 6 = 27 Minotaur 27 - gargoyle 19 = gargoyles loses 8 hit points Gargoyle's hit points are at 10/10 and change to 2/10 *** The nasty spies of the demon hordes jumps down to attack the minotaur to only get the cleavage of a great axe. It squeels in pain as half of its body is sliced open. The gargoyle lands on the ground with its wings folded in. "Hold do not kill it Draven," Boromir says. He then walks up to the small creature and touches it. The creature hissed but cannot defend itself anymore. Boromir closes his eyes and visions the evil creatures mind and all it has seen. It shows it has flown to many towns of the Lands of Bavidirian reporting back to a large demon with massive wings. Its mouth is off fire as of its body of molten rock and lava. The wings are on fire. Boromir then takes his hand off the gargoyle and watches how it slowly turns into dust. "Evil spies of the demon hordes who have scouted the towns of these lands. These demons are no fools as they strategically try to conquer the lands," Boromir says. (Add 50 experience points to your character sheet Draven) |

"Well so much for that. I think that deserved a strong potent ale," Boromir says walking down the stairs towards the bar.

Samwise pours two dwarven meades for Draven and the newcomer. ![]() ![]() From childhood's hour I have not been As others were — I have not seen As others saw — I could not bring My passions from a common spring — From the same source I have not taken My sorrow — I could not awaken My heart to joy at the same tone — And all I lov'd — I lov'd alone — Then — in my childhood — in the dawn Of a most stormy life — was drawn From ev'ry depth of good and ill The mystery which binds me still — From the torrent, or the fountain — From the red cliff of the mountain — From the sun that 'round me roll'd In its autumn tint of gold — From the lightning in the sky As it pass'd me flying by — From the thunder, and the storm — And the cloud that took the form (When the rest of Heaven was blue) Of a demon in my view — |

Both Boromir and Samwise clap their hands at the wonderful poem the gnome with clown mask has given.
They wonder when he will take it off to drink his dwarven meade. |
Draven listens to the traveler while cleaning the gargoyles blood off his axe. The owner lady is going to be angry that thing came in and attacked her things.

Draven drains his mug and sits and relaxes after the battle

The hobbit Samwise is most pleased as he pours two more mugs.
Boromir sits down as he feels a bit of drowsiness. |
