Krupa! I'm surprised you didn't mention the Rice Fest! Oh yeah! Rice Fest has nothing to do with Rice. A really cool Mother and Daughter open up thier property for an annual party that lasts three days. Everyone brings a dish or something for the grill. People come from as far as Cali to hang out with old friends..play volley ball, swim, listen to bands play get sh*t faced and after dark the left handed cigarrettes come out...(but, in private)....plenty of activities for the kids...(generally 20-50 of them) lots of 30-50 year olds and quite a few that still come in thier mid 70's......this year will be the 23rd annual Rice Fest...haven't decided what I am gonna cook but, I may have to drag Que down to attend her first one. I hope so cuz I missed last year's...lemme know when it's gonna happen! |

The Gulf Coast Arts & Crafts Festival in downtown Seville Square...AWESOME! Not sure of dates...wonderful art, music, food, beer and people! Pensacola, FL The shrimp and seafood fastival is good too , then there is the sausage festivl in that mecca of culture i like to call beaulah MMMMM......Sausage

UFO days in elmwood wisconsin. Celebrating all the UFO sightings over the years and half the town being abducted by aliens. Lots of alcohol, bands, aliens, and free anal probes.
